No sales tricks or gimmicks, simply 40 years experience in the design and building industry,
and hundreds of suppliers and contacts offering trade discounts.
Mr and Mrs O’Neil contacted us when they were purchasing their property, so the sale had not even been completed. They were wanting to get small modifications done to their new home before they moved in.
We went through the range of services we offer and they asked to take our full range. We asked what they intended to get done in the house initially and also for the best quotes they had received form varies companies they had contacted. The total cost of their quotes came to £15,000, we went to our suppliers and we were able to save them over £4000 + Vat, and on such a small order.
“This is what makes us different from any other design and build company. FACT not FICTION.”

Detached Property – Extensions, refurbishment, loft conversions, new kitchens, patios this job had it all and was built on budget and on time.
I work away from home most weeks so I just handed my project over to Paul and 26 weeks on we are just finishing things off and are almost ready to install the new kitchen and bathrooms.
The project has run very smoothly, on time and under budget. We have saved £1000s by using Home Extension Advisory Service. I never realised that having major works undertaken could be done in such an organised manner. Well done to everyone involved, especially Kevin the builder and his team.

Transforming an old fashioned bungalow into a beautiful new home
Our clients contacted us for help. They had great ideas and together with an extension and imagination we made an ordinary bungalow into something special.
If I was to say The Home Extension Advisory Service helped me, it wouldn’t do real justice to their range of services available. That’s why I chose to go on record with a full account of my experience. It isn’t just the money they helped me to save, that ran into the £1000, it’s the efficient and professional way they conduct themselves through out the whole project.
Bob Rutt
Bob came to use with a vision of turning his ran-down two bed bungalow into his dream home. We took him on his journey and now share his story to show you how he not only saved on what he paid us in fees, but how he went on to save £1000’s more.
Bob asked us to bring his vision to life with out 3d visualisations and a virtual tour.
This was our vision of what Bob’s property could look when extended. Bob had told us he did not require the storage space in the loft, so we made a feature of the property by creating vaulted ceilings.
I had already commissioned an architect and submitted a planning application, for a design that I knew I still wasn’t 100% happy with, when my builder recommended Bricks and Pieces to me. Paul surveyed my house and spent a lot of time understanding exactly what I was looking to achieve. A short while later, Paul emailed me several innovative 3D designs that my wife and I loved. Their fee was very reasonable and worth every penny.

We used Bricks and Pieces design and build service previously, for our loft conversion back in 2014. We engaged their loft conversion specialist as the price we were quoted was a lot cheaper than quotes I had received from other builders. Furthermore, as a specialist and approved by Bricks and Pieces, I felt assured the quality of work would fit for me. On this occasion, we have asked for a garage conversion. We’ve had the same high level of service using different builders but the same Bricks and Pieces personal. Well done to all the staff.

Adding an additional living space to your home is more popular than ever, but many people start their home extension projects without knowing enough about design, the law, planning and construction.
Make use of that cluttered loft space by converting it in to another bedroom or living space. Adding a loft conversion can often be half the cost of a traditional home extension and be up to four times quicker to complete.
Separating the dining room and the utility room used to be very popular, whereas now there is a growing popularity for open-plan kitchens which can provide more options for cooking and bring the family closer together during meal times.
People do not often think about garage conversions as a way of increasing space in their homes. But with thoughtful planning and creative design, you add an extra living space to your home at a fraction of the cost of typcial extensions.
We all love boasting over how unique our homes are, especially those who have embarked on a barn conversion. Enjoying those authentic exposed beams overhead and the spaciousness of an open plan living area. Great for bringing families closer together.
The lounge, or living room, is great for when the family gets together. But we all enjoy having our own space. Converting or adding bespoke living spaces is a great way to add that sacred man cave or that long sought after cinema room, to make it feel like you are in your own private red carpet event.
